I am a very dramatic preacher because I believe when a man of God is under the annoiting, he is able to deliver the word of God with power and authority to set people free of sin. My unconventional preaching styles will be sure to captivate, inspire and bring God's word to life.

I was raised in Bright, Ontario. My grandparents, Rev. Baden and Avis Mick started the Bright Gospel Church. However, even though I had a family that loved and served God, I was a wild teenager that lived a rough life. Thank God for a praying family that did not give up on me.

I tried to find happiness in life by working as a construction worker and driving trucks. I thought that if I made a lot of money, I would be happy. I even chased girls and drove my car and motorcyle like a crazy fool. Still I could never find that inner peace in my soul.

But since that time, I had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. My life was changed forever. I have found in Christ everything that I was searching for in life.

Friend, I want you to know that if there was hope for Gary Baer, then there is hope for everyone of you as well.

When I found Christ as my personal Savior, I wanted more of God in my life. Soon later, I was sanctified and baptized in the Holy Spirit. At the age of 22, I responded to the call of God to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Since that time, I have travelled throughout England and the USA preaching at every opportunity. The Lord directed me to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where I attended Bible College. My life was greatly enriched and blessed as I studied the word of God.

I believe that today people are looking for answers and I believe those answers come from God. I not only believe that, but I have proved it to be true through making the right and sometimes wrong choices in life. But God has always been there to see me through each situation, for which I am thankful.

Some of the great men of God who have influenced my life are: R. W. Schambach, Dr. Melvin Harter, Jimmy Swaggart, David Wilkerson, and many others to which I am thankful.

Some people have inquired as to whether I am married or not? Well, I have never been married. I am still waiting for that special beautiful girl who loves God with all her heart and who is willing help me spread the gospel to the entire world. Nevertheless, I will continue to wait until the Lord brings her into my life.
